'Curraghmore' a spacious Trad / Semi Trad 60' Narrowboat built by Stuart Hodges Boat Builders in 2003.

This Narrowboat is designed in a forward layout and offers a masters cabin with a fixed double berth aft, a walk-through head/toilet compartment, a well-equipped galley boasting granite worktops, and a saloon with a pull-man s style dinette & free standing arm chairs.

Powered by an economical Beta Marine 43hp 4-cylinder diesel engine. Central heating is provided by a Bubble Franco Belge Belfort Stove located in the saloon. Hot water is supplied by the engine calorifier and an immersion when connected to shore power. 240V & 12V electrics on board.

‘Curraghmore’ an attractive, comprehensively equipped, and well-maintained boat that can used as a liveaboard or leisure cruiser that can cruise most forms of UK inland waterways. She has a modern Ash, Oak & Cherry cabin fit out with Walnut & Maple flooring.


Windows are double glazed which are slightly tinted to maintain comfort and privacy. The bright, airy open plan saloon features freestanding armchairs and foot stools, built in cupboards and TV unit. A diesel Bubble Franco Belge Belfort Stove on a tiled hearth is positioned to starboard.


Positioned to port features a pullman’s style dinette with forward and aft facing seats with storage below. This can be converted to form a double berth, accommodating two extra berths and guests when required.


Comprehensively equipped galley kitchen boasting granite worktops. Gas hob, oven, and grill, 12V fridge, washing machine, and cupboard units. A fantastic space to show off those boating recipes!


Spacious walk-through bathroom with an excellent quadrant shower, wash basin, pump out macerator toilet, and heated towel rail.

Master Cabin

From the stern deck, steps down leads into a comfy cross double bedroom with large under-bed drawers and overhead storage lockers, wardrobe, and radiator. The bed pulls out to form an across width double bed.


The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the sockets throughout the boat. When cruising a Victron 2500W invertor / charger ensures you are never without power. A solar panel is fitted onto the cabin roof for trickle charging the batteries.

Heating / Hot Water System

A diesel fire system is supplied on board running radiators throughout the cabin including a diesel stove on a tiled heath in the saloon; providing ample of heat onboard, perfect for all year round cruising. The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running and a 240V immersion for use when connected to shore power.
