Maxima at the NEC Caravan Camping & Motorhome Show

Tingdene and D & R Engineering will bring the world of boating to the NEC Birmingham on 22-27 February by exhibiting two boats from the Maxima range on stand 4040b.

Maxima Boats offer highly practical day cruising that combines the classical lines of a Dutch sloop or tender with many modern features and low maintenance construction.

The Maxima 600 tender sloop on display has a very clever stern design. Its quiet Honda outboard is disguised within a compartment ahead of an integrated boarding and swimming platform with substantial grab rails that offers easy access into the cockpit. The hull is designed to offer a stable platform equally capable of higher speeds or gentle cruising on waterways. For full performance you can opt for a 60hp Honda outboard but a 10hp is fine for gentle cruising. Onboard you'll find comfortable seating for 6-8 with a nicely open layout, secure high sides, smart upholstery and choice of options to add further versatility. This boat is easily controlled from a sociable central helm, allowing you to keep a good watch while enjoying the conversation.

The Maxima 490 is the baby of the fleet, but with all the key attributes of its bigger sisters. You can waterski or wakeboard behind when fitted with a 40hp Honda outboard, or limbo under the lowest bridges into hithero unexplored bywaters when river and canal pottering. Capable of accommodating five or six people, the 490 can be easily trailered, dry stored or moored for adventures near and far.
